Finding
this site and seeing all these different plants, one may wonder where
one can obtain these. The majority, if not all, can be obtained
from web sites on line and a listing of these can be found under
links e.g. for Hellebores what about Farmyard
Nurseries. |

There
is something flowering all through the year and provides welcome
colour and often scent. It seems amazing that the bees work some
of these plants when it is sunny often on apparently cold days
although the ambient air temperature locally may be a lot higher.
Daffodils and snowdrops are showing their leaves even in mid december.
Tasks in the garden seem never ending, bramble growths need removing
and the grass never stops growing! The bird feeders are being
emptied almost daily. Now in February the largest pond is full
of frog spawn after well over 100 frogs visited. The snowdrops
are now at their best and Camellias and Rhododendrons are beginning
to swell their buds ready to open.
