Exotic Hollow - general view
A quiet period, but there are some species, depending on the weather, still flowering. Rhododendron 'Nobleanum Group', Rhododendron dauricum 'Midwinter', Rhododendron 'Choremia' are the main interest as well as a large plant of Rhododendron falconeri subsp. eximium x montroseanum. This can be spectacular on the back boundary wall near the path to Exotic Hollow. Unfortunately it's off-pink flowers are frosted but makes up for this with its long flowering period.
