April is the time of rapid change in the Gwyllt. Even though the weather can be traditionally variable, one minute like summer, the next like winter, Camellias, Rhododendrons and an ever increasing number of Magnolias flower. The range of species, varieties of these genera flowering change almost by the day, a kaleidoscopic helter-skelter of colours bursting through this naturalistic setting.
